The Beauty of Blackness Fine Art Show
A premier virtual Fine Art Show that showcases some of the finest in Black and African American art. The show is both Virtual and in a physical location, streaming live on all major social media platforms. The show takes place during Labor Day weekend and will feature national and international artists. Our mission is to teach, evoke and arouse the aesthetic senses. We are inviting the world into the amazing beauty of black creativity. We are sharing the wonders of a rich heritage of what it truly means to be black. The Beauty of Blackness Fine Art Show delivers the highest level of talent in Fine Art. The Show exhibit this year will be held in The Merchant Room, an urban americana gallery and professional studio space located upstairs in a 100+ year old building. The architectural richness of this building, which was originally the P. Anderson Hardware store in 1897, makes the Merchant Room a perfect location for professional photographers and videographers to book for their client sessions.The space hosts a live artist gallery featuring shows every First Friday of the month in collaboration with The Downtown Business Association Art Walk event.
